the mission of the nest is to be a safe place to begin your journey of restoration. god’s word says spalms91-1 “he shall cover you with his feathers and under his wings shall take refuge. His truth shall be your shield and buckler.”
The Nest is this place of refuge. It is a place of no judgement and no condemnation. Only the love, grace, and acceptance of the ALL-MIGHTY GOD. Where former addicts can help you find the comfort and healing, they have found in Jessus Christ; and the fullness of being instructed by god’s word. It is a place to realize the safety of god’s love and how hard he has fought for us. We pray that God will use us to reach those that are lost, broken, and wanting help.
The nest was established to provide a safe temporary shelter while locating the resources needed for rehabilitation and restoration. Our purpose is to work with people who truly want to be free from their addictions. We will help them formulate a recovery plan and help them take the necessary steps to get them started. The outcome of the nest involvement is the restoration of people with their families and their communities. These efforts will help people to heal and make a real change in their lives.
The Nest is a non-profit service provided to the addiction community free of charge for the purpose of helping the lost, hurting, and addicted find healing and learn to live again. One of our goals Is to have a facility that will be able to offer temporary safe housing for people to stay while they are waiting and getting ready to go into long term residential treatment.
